“Two minutes. Don’t move.”
Theo said he’d be right back. By the time they found him at the boiler-room steps, the flower was still open.

One night in bloom.

Once a year, the Victorian Larkspur Palm House stays open late. Visitors gather beside the pond to watch Selene, a cactus flower that opens for a single night.

This year, curator Theo Marsh steps away shortly after it blooms. A volunteer finds him dead at the foot of the boiler-room steps. The inspector thinks he fell carrying a crate of pots.

At five, the scene will be released. You have until then to show the inspector what doesn’t add up.

The deadline belongs to the story. You can take your time.

The night begins

From the shared opening scene

“Two minutes,” Theo said. “Don’t move.”

That was at nine minutes past eleven. At ten to eleven the Dome had been at its loveliest: warm as bathwater, the glass sweating, string lights looped along the ironwork, a jazz trio playing far too quietly in the palms. Everyone wore white because the tickets had asked them to.

Alone or together?

Alone, you hold both files. For two players, share one screen and take the police file and Theo’s side between you. Compare what you read and agree which lines to send. No acting or host is needed.

What if I get stuck?

Switch between Detective and Guided at any time. Help builds from a lead question to relevant records and hints. A full answer is available only if you ask.

Can we pause and come back?

Yes. Choose Continue playing in the same browser and on the same device to pick up where you left off, when browser storage is available. There is no enforced countdown. The five o’clock deadline belongs to the story.

How long will it take?

Allow around 90–120 minutes, depending on how closely you read, how much you discuss and how many extra leads you follow. This is an estimate. There is no enforced timer, and you can return in the same browser to continue.

What does it cost?

£9.99 / US$14.99 for the complete case, for one or two players sharing one screen. Your purchase includes 12 months of access, unlimited replay and a 14-day refund promise.

What do we need to know?

A phone, tablet or laptop with a browser. A larger screen can be more comfortable for two. Nothing to print or install.
